Cheese and food-processing equipment
Provolone molds. Augers. Vats, lids, agitators. If it touches dairy or food, we coat it. Every day. That is the work this shop is built around.

J&C Manufacturing · Allenton, WI · Est. 1970
Food-processing parts. Heat-seal bars. Catch pans that dump clean. Also military, automotive, printing, industrial, and chemical-resistance work. If it needs a film, we coat it.

Coatings out of Allenton since then.
Owner-run
You talk to the people who coat the part.
Food daily
Cheese equipment is the lead job.
Large parts
Fluoropolymer on work other shops send back.
Freight
Both ways when the part needs a truck.
The problem
We do not sell a catalog of brand names. We solve the job on the metal. Pick the problem. We pick the film.
Cheese, film, glue, plastic, sticky waste. The part has to dump clean.
Release filmsRepeat contact. Abrasion. A working skin instead of a pretty paint.
Wear filmsSliding parts that need a dry film. Less pick-up. Less galling.
Dry lubeSplash, solvent, heat. Spec the resin to the duty, not a consumer label.
Chemical and heatWhat we coat every day
The work we run constantly. Then everything else: small lots, odd geometries, parts that have to live in chemicals.
Provolone molds. Augers. Vats, lids, agitators. If it touches dairy or food, we coat it. Every day. That is the work this shop is built around.
Food and dairy
Packaging lines live on release. We coat heat-seal parts every day so film, cheese, and product let go instead of baking on.
Packaging work
Glue. Plastic. Other process waste that hangs on. Sparkle-black release pans that dump clean. Pans. Not bins.
Release filmsCheese work
The weldment with the through-holes is a mold for a big round provolone loaf. Gray film in the tubes so a full wheel releases. Heat tints the stainless gold. We polish the body back to a showroom finish. Augers move product without it hanging on.
The rest
Cheese equipment is the lead. It is not the only work. We coat military, automotive, printing, and industrial parts every week. A lot of that is chemical resistance. Small parts and large ones. One-offs and repeats.

Large parts
We have coated large work since 1970. Long shafts. Flights. Vessel hardware. One plant in Allenton. If the part fits the plant, we will look at it. Freight both ways when you need it.
From the floor
Owner-shop chemistry
J&C runs its own high-release fluoropolymer films. They outperform the old name-brand nonstick shops used to hang their hat on. PTFE, PFA, FEP, ETFE. Dry-film. Powder coat. Built for the part, not for a logo on the can.

Name, photo, or a short description is enough to start. Call if the part is already on a truck.
